About me

Back in my early childhood I became interested in the occult in general and astrology in particular. During the eighties, it became a passion and a few years later, I followed training.
In 2004 I left Europe for a long time to stay in India. Here I could finally develop my innate affinity with the East.
I learned to appreciate the Buddha Dharma and experienced also an increased interest in Vedic astrology, which has quite different accents than western astrology but explains things in a special, yet supplemental way.
I finished my study of shamanism in the same year.
I first ran into astrology about 22 years ago, through a book. I was sceptical about it first but gradually became convinced of the psychological value of the system and its applications.
Unlike most people who discover astrology today, I had no computerprogramm back in 1985 which helped me to calculate my birth chart. I taught myself these calculations in a 'traditional' way and when I look back it, I think it was an enriching experience.
My interest in astrology has evolved over time and is now particularly situated in esoteric astrology.
I was born with the sun in the eighth house and with Uranus conjunct Midheaven. Astrology is a great tool for me because it helps me to extract the essence out of life's lessons, so I can use this knowledge accordingly. The eighth house of the horoscope is often called "the house of the alchemist".
The best description I've ever read on the psychological properties of this house, compares the eighth house with Tolkiens' 'mines of Moria'. 'Moria' not only refers to 'Moira' or fate, it also refers to the information about the past, present and future that lies concealed in our birth chart. Knowledge of that information is valuable.
